Directions to Lavelle & Finn, LLP

Say, have you heard the one about I-87/Route 7 construction, the closing of four traffic lanes and its effects on area businesses? You haven’t??? Well, have I got a doozy for you! No, this isn’t the set up for a great joke; it’s more like our chance to let you in on how best to get to Lavelle & Finn, LLP from I-87. Starting on March 6, 2010 and ending November 2010, exit 6 (north- and southbound) of I-87 will be under major construction, directly affecting traffic travelling east and west on Route 7. To help you avoid major traffic issues when visiting us, we are providing alternate directions to the office. If you have any questions or need extra help, just give us a call. Travelling from the North

 

Take I-87 South to Exit 4, following the sign indicating Route 155 West/Airport. Make a left at the light at the end of the ramp. Travel 3/10 mile and make a right onto Albany Shaker Road. Drive 2.7 miles and make a left onto British American Blvd – it is the 5th traffic light on Albany-Shaker Road. There are no landmarks at the corner, other than you will have just passed Safelight Autoglass on the right. Continue up British American Boulevard 6/10 mile to #29 on the right. Travel a short distance down the drive, bear left at the flagpole and park in front of the building. Lavelle & Finn, LLP is on the second floor.

 

Travelling from the East

 

Take I-90 West to I-87 North (Northway). Take Exit 4 and make a left at the traffic light. Drive to the intersection and make a left onto Albany Shaker Road. Drive 2.8 miles and make a left onto British American Blvd – it is the 5th traffic light on Albany-Shaker Road. There are no landmarks at the corner, other than you will have just passed Safelight Autoglass on the right. Continue up British American Boulevard 6/10 mile to #29 on the right. Travel a short distance down the drive, bear left at the flagpole and park in front of the building. Lavelle & Finn, LLP is on the second floor.

 

Travelling from the South

 

Take I-90 (NYS Thruway) North to Exit 24 (Albany).  After the toll plaza, follow signs to I-87 North (Northway). Take Exit 4 and make a left at the traffic light. Drive to the intersection and make a left onto Albany Shaker Road. Drive 2.8 miles and make a left onto British American Blvd – it is the 5th traffic light on Albany-Shaker Road. There are no landmarks at the corner, other than you will have just passed Safelight Autoglass on the right. Continue up British American Boulevard 6/10 mile to #29 on the right. Travelling from the West

From Schenectady, take Route 7 East to British American Boulevard (just past Bowler’s Club). Make a right onto British American Boulevard. Landmarks: Trustco Bank & Wendy’s.  29 British American Boulevard is approximately ½ mile on the left. After entering the driveway for #29, make the first left into our parking lot. Lavelle & Finn, LLP is on the second floor.

 

Travelling from Albany International Airport

 

Exit Airport Parking. Turn right onto Albany Shaker Road. Follow Albany Shaker Road approximately 1 mile to the 4th traffic light at British American Boulevard. Make a left and follow the road to 29 British American Boulevard. After entering the driveway for #29, make the first left into our parking lot. Lavelle & Finn, LLP is on the second floor.
